• Bovikalc Calcium bolus is a supplementary dietary feed for the prevention or after-treatment of milk fever.
• Bovikalc is recommended both preventatively and as a supplement to a calcium infusion. Very safe to use, unique composition and method of administration.
• Due to the special composition of Bovikalc the calcium becomes available both immediately and gradually.
• For the prevention or after-treatment of milk fever. For preventive administration of calcium in cows that are sensitive to milk fever.
• Usage Bovikalc to supplement the ration around parturition in cows predisposed to hypocalcemia (milk or calf fever).

Administration in prevention of milk fever:

• 1 bolus at the start of birth.
• 2nd bolus immediately after calving.
• 3rd bolus 12 to 15 hours after the 2nd bolus.
• 4th bolus 12 to 15 hours after the 3rd bolus.

Administration in the treatment of milk fever:

• 1st bolus 2 to 3 hours after the calcium infusion.
• 2nd bolus 12 to 15 hours after the 1st bolus.
