The Hotshock® N500 is an electric fence energizer from the professional series of Horizont. It is a very powerful device, specially developed for less sensitive animals such as sheep, wolves, poultry and for game management.

The Hotshock® N500 has 2 different connections for output voltages; this allows you to select the maximum power for at large plots, but it is also possible to switch to a lower voltage (up to 1J) for smaller plots or more sensitive animals.

Impulse Control

As an additional safety feature, the Hotshock N500 features a display with “Impulse Control”, which lights up clearly as soon as the voltage level on the fence drops below the limit value.

Grounding

Essential for an optimally functioning electric fence is a good grounding. An earth rod must have at preferably no voltage. For the hotshock N500 we recommend at least 5 earth rods of 150cm
