Ranger® ABN60 (0.6 Joule)
The Ranger® ABN60 is an electric fence device from Horizont's professional series. It is a powerful device for up to 4.5km, which can also deliver sufficient voltage in dry conditions. Very suitable for fencing cattle or horses.
Power
Since the device is suitable for both 9V, 12V, and 230V, the Ranger ABN60 is flexibly deployable. The device features a deep discharge protection for the 12V battery. With each pulse emission of the device, the light of the on/off switch on the front lights up. This allows you to easily observe the activity of the device. The color with which this light illuminates indicates the battery capacity in 3 levels:
- Green: 40-100%
- Red/green: 20-40%
- Red: 0-20%
ECO power
The device is equipped with a fully automatic power-saving mode: the power consumption is adjusted to the condition of the fence. In short, if the fence is well installed and insulated, the power consumption will be minimal.
Grounding
Essential for an optimally functioning electric fence is good grounding. Preferably, there should be no voltage on a ground rod. For the Ranger ABN60, we recommend at least 1 ground rod of 100cm (art.nr. 014041)
