Topro Energy bolus
The Topro Energy bolus is a mineral dietary supplement for dairy cows in the form of a bolus for oral administration, to reduce the risk of ketosis (Ketosis). It is a common condition in dairy cattle: ketosis, also known as ketosis. Research has shown that in the first 2 months after calving, more than one in ten cows suffer from it (Veeteelt 2 Feb 2012). The percentage of cows suffering from subclinical ketosis is even higher. Ketosis is the result of a negative energy balance. This occurs because, after calving, the cow begins to produce large amounts of milk and thus demands more energy than it can produce. The Topro Energy bolus is fast dissolving and is administered to dairy cows after calving and during the start-up of milk production. The bolus contains quickly available energy in the form of calcium propionate. Dosage: 2 boluses at calving 2 boluses 12 hours later 1 or 2 boluses 24 hours later 1 or 2 boluses 36 hours later Explanation on instructions for use:
