The transponder uses a digital MEMS accelerometer with micro-power consumption and high sampling frequency as a sensor, allowing every action of the animal to be analyzed and performance to be enhanced through firmware updates.

The main component of the infrared transponder is made of impact-resistant polyamide and thick polycarbonate, and withstands heavy loads while providing protection against moisture and corrosive environments.

These and other technical solutions increase the reliability and durability of the infrared transponder compared to the HR-TAG (SCR) sensor.

The Infrared Transponder H/HR-QWES LD has a 2-year warranty on electronics, however, no warranty on the case.
